It has been months since Eric Bischoff last updated his blog but he is back writing about this past Monday’s 15th Anniversary Raw. In the blog he writes about how he received a call about two weeks ago and was asked if he would be interested and available to do the show. His first reaction was to pass, as he had not been home for more than 36 hours since well before Thanksgiving, plus he has several shows in production and two major licensing projects that are eating up 12 or 14 hours a day. Bischoff said, “I wasnât looking forward to an un-scheduled trip from Los Angeles to Bridgeport Ct. But I didnât want to pass up an opportunity to see some friends, and be a part of a great show.” He said it was a refreshing change as he was only returning for a ‘one nighter’ and he knew he would have a chance to be less scripted than normal and loved the flexibility and freedom to read the crowd and improvise a performance. Bischoff commented on how Chris Jericho is a great performer and was glad to have a chance to work with him. Eric had a chance to spend some time with Rob Van Dam and Hulk Hogan on a flight from Los Angeles to Connecticut. During the trip to Los Angeles, Bischoff noted that his first time to have ever had a real ‘non business’ conversation with RVD.
