The Miami Herald is reporting that World Wrestling Entertainment has rejected a deal offered by the estate of Chris Benoit. According to the report, WWE refused to pay $2 million to Benoitâs two surviving children from a previous marriage as ”recognition of their father’s contributions to the company,” according to Chris Benoitâs father, Michael Benoitâs attorney Cary Ichter. The publication noted that this could have set the stage for a âpotentially nasty and protracted legal battle.â
