HBK Makes Return To House Shows, Vince McMahon’s Meeting

Shawn Michaels made his long awaited return to WWE house show events this weekend. He teamed with Triple H as Degeneration-X and defeated Umaga and Snitsky on Friday nightâs WWE house show. Shawn Michaels also appeared as part of Degeneration-X with Triple H on Saturday, defeating William Regal and Umaga in a tag-team match.

REMINDER: Rob Van Dam and Leticia Cline will be the guests on the return edition of WrestleZone Radio tomorrow night from 7-9 PM EST. I (Ryan Clark) will be on the show on a weekly basis as well to run down all the latest news and rumors. This is going to be a lot of fun each week and the fan response to the show returning has been amazing already. The show used to be the biggest online wrestling radio show back in its heyday and will almost surely take that spot once again with the amount of promotion we will be giving it. I’m thrilled that this show is coming back and proud to be a part of it once again. More information on the show can be found at this link. I know they have Kip James, Christy Hemme, and Marty Janetty all booked for the show in the next two or three weeks so it’s off to a great start. It’s this tomorrow night from 7-9 PM EST at http://wrestlezone.com/radio/

Santino Marella and Carlito successfully qualified for the WWE Royal Rumble match at last nightâs WWE house show event in Tallahassee, FL. They defeated DH Smith and Super Crazy in a Royal Rumble qualifying match.

Don’t be surprised if you see some WWE wrestlers regain their former sizes. The feeling is that the heat is off. On the heels of the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide, Vince McMahon called a meeting to notify talent to get off whatever they were using, especially considering that Congress was looking over their shoulder. Now that steroids in pro wrestling isn’t going to be subject to Congressional hearings, and the chances of hearings on the topic taking place anytime in the near future are slim to none, things will likely be reverting back to how they were again in WWE.
