WWE announced last week that for the last two weeks of 2007, Friday Night Smackdown! was the number one English-language primetime program on broadcast television among Hispanic households. The Hispanic audience is very important to WWE and especially to Smackdown! With Eddie Guerrero as champion, the company saw new record numbers from the Hispanic viewers and later Rey Mysterio’s success in the company continued the trend after Guerrero passed away in 2005. During Christmas week, Smackdown! did better in Hispanic viewership than the Patriots vs. Giants game. (Thanks to Colin Vassallo)

‘Survivor’s’ Jonny Fairplay, ‘Top Model’ Fiancee Become Parents – Jonny Fairplay’s “deceased” grandmother has a great-grandchild. It’s the first child for Jon Dalton and Michelle Deighton. Reality villain Jon Dalton, better known as “Survivor: Pearl Island’s” Jonny Fairplay, and his girlfriend, “America’s Next Top Model” competitor Michelle Deighton, welcomed a daughter in to their family on Wednesday, Jan. 16, reports Pagesix.com. The little girl, named Piper Addison, is the first for the couple, who has been dating for two years.

TNA will make its official debut in New York City on Thursday February 21st with a house show at Webster Hall. The current lineup for the event features:
