Main ECW Head Steps Down, ROH PPV Tonight, Lesnar/HHH

Ryan Clark

Bonnie Hammer stepped down from her position as the head of the Sci-Fi Channel yesterday. Hammer is one of the people that pushed for ECW to get a television clearance despite the objections from many.

Former WWE Champion and UFC fighter Brock Lesnar was a guest on on Bubba The Love Sponge’s Sirius Sattelite Radio show yesterday afternoon. Lesnar talked about a number of topics, including his amatuer wrestling career, WWE, the NFL and now UFC. Here are the notable highlights:

  • Bubba kept baiting Lesnar to say something bad about Triple H, but he wouldn’t. The farthest he’d go is to say that if Hunter wasn’t wasnâ<80><99>t screwing Stephanie, another wrestler would be.

  • When asked about the possibility of Kurt Angle in the world of MMA, he said it’s not going to happen and that Kurt Angle a “talker”.

  • Brock said that mixed martial arts will be his last sports career and when heâ<80><99>s done, he wonâ<80><99>t be going back to WWE.
