Christy Hemme/Stephanie McMahon Heat, Christian, iMPACT!

On eBay, TNA Knockout Christy Hemme is selling ring worn boots given to her by World Wrestling Entertainment’s Executive Vice President of Talent and Creative Writing Stephanie McMahon when she was in the company. According to Christy, Stephanie and her wear the same shoe size, so Stephanie gave them to her when she started to wrestle in matches. These are the same boots Stephanie wore in her wrestling matches over the years. Hemme wore the boots in all of her WWE matches, including her match with Trish Stratus at WrestleMania 21.

Christian Cage has started a new column for GameTap.com, with the first edition available right now to view at TNAWrestling.com.

The 1/17 edition of TNA iMPACT! set its all-time viewership record with 1,623,000 viewers, which translates to a 1.22 rating. Although, it’s interesting to note that every segment on the show except for the women’s match between Angelina Love & ODB lost viewers. The show started off really strong with a 1.27 rating for the Team 3D & X Division wrestlers confrontation. The first Shark Boy segment & Tomko vs. Young lost 146,000 viewers. The TNA Knockouts continue to deliver in the ratings as it was the only segment on the show to not lose any viewers. The match between Angelina Love & ODB gained 93,000 viewers. Aside from the first segment, it was the highest-rated part of the show. Kaz vs. Senshi & Abyss vs. Hoyt lost 27,000 viewers. The Mitchell interview and Roode vs. Dutt lost 13,000 viewers. The VKM segment with James bringing back Bob Armstrong lost 27,000 viewers. The lowest-rated part of the show was the main event between Samoa Joe, Christian Cage and AJ Styles for a future title shot as it lost 133,000 viewers and did a 1.08 overall rating. This figure is less than what a lot of recent Impact main events have been doing.

One of the guys in the Shark costumes in the Shark Boy hospital segments was Glenn Gilberti a.k.a. Disco Inferno. He was likely the guy that jumped on Shark Boy when Velvet Sky & Angelina Love wanted to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to him. Also, “Nurse Bass” works backstage grip for TNA.
