CNN Money has a new press release online today issued from NEP Systems, the company that partnered with WWE to help them make the transition to High Definition. The release features comments from NEP chief technology officer George Hoover commenting on WWE. He states: “WWE challenged us with creating a mobile production facility … This is a one of a kind unit that houses the most sophisticated sports telecast equipment out there today and we are proud to launch WWE into a new era of its growth.”

AM RAW on January 26th did a 0.7 cable rating according to data compiled by Nielson Media Research.

The Associated Press has an article on Brock Lesnar’s forthcoming MMA debut with UFC this weekend.

Prior to Jim Ross inking a new two year contract with WWE, the hall of fame announcer had been working without a contract since November.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ.com reports that in its search to find “America’s Prom Queen” for their new reality show, ABC Family has selected Brooke Hogan to sit among the prom committee panelists. The show, which premiers March 17, also features CosmoGIRL Editor-in-Chief Susan Schulz, “Last Comic Standing’s” Theo Von and “Queer Eye’s” Jai Rodriguez. TMZ suggested they rename the show “America’s White Trash Prom Queen” and said “Let’s just hope they don’t let Brooke pick out the prom dress.”
