From Jeremy Moses: Just FYI I did not have Smackdown on my TV from at least 9:45pm to its conclusion here in NKY. It was never listed on the blackout list. I’m contacting CinCW to see what happened.

Today I was looking at the Los Angeles Times Business section of the newspaper. The article is The CW gives ‘Smackdown’ the brushoff. The TV network will drop wrestling as it tries to build its audience by targeting young women. According to Nielsen Media Research, the WWE Divas being featured on ‘Project Runaway’ helped the episode on Bravo score a 3.0 cable rating Wednesday night.

Based on Nielsen’s fast national numbers, last night’s edition of Friday Night Smackdown scored a 2.7 broadcast rating on the CW Network.

Speaking of SmackDown, the end of their relationship with the CW Network continues to make headlines across the country. The Associated Press, Entertainment Weekly, The E! Network, as well as most major newspaper outlets have made mention of the story.
