The ’08 Royal Rumble, Y2J’s Return, Trish Stratus

  • Royal Rumble 2008 will be released tomorrow on DVD. FYE will have an exclusive version of the DVD that comes packed in a tin.
  • Disco Inferno stated in a recent blog that Chris Jericho’s return is one of the top reasons why the WWE’s ratings are so low.
  • Former WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus is shooting a new television show this week that will air on the Travel Channel, reports Stratus-Faction.com. Stratus will travel the world and explore countries & cultures outside of North America. The series is called Stratusphere and will start airing this August.
  • It was just announced at the WrestleMania XXIV press conference that Maria and Candice Michelle will be involved in a Playboy Bunny match at WrestleMania. Their opponents have yet to be named.
  • After shying away from outside sites, WWE now has official accounts on YouTube and Facebook. You can also see their Facebook page at FaceBook.com. They’re branding their pages as the “WWE Fan Nation.” They also plan on launching an official page on MySpace in the near future.
