  • The WrestleMania Fan AXXESS tour will stop next in Houston, Texas on Saturday at the Kemah Boardwalk. Mark Henry and Vickie Guerrero will be there doing a meet and greet with fans.
  • Maria will be doing a signing tour in support of her upcoming Playboy cover shoot. On March 13th, she’ll be signing at the Virgin Megastore in Los Angeles. there will be some other dates added to the tour, including a stop in New York City. Contrary to WWE’s storylines, her Playboy shoot actually took place months ago.
  • Sabu is suffering from a hip injury. Apparently the injury occurred while he was working with AAA in Mexico. The injury is expected to keep him off of some upcoming independent dates.
  • Motley Fool has an article online looking at WWEâs decision to double the stock dividends to its common stock holders, while keeping the McMahon family shares at the same dividend rate. The publication says, “Gee, a company that wants to give more to its investors than it does to itself? What must those McMahons be up to? It sounds like another great pay-per-view plot twist.”
  • For those who didn’t catch it last night, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson presented the Academy Award for Best Visual Effect. Host Jon Stewart introduced him as simply Dwayne Johnson and made a brief mention about his pro wrestling past. Johnson has stated on more than one occassion that this was a huge honor for him to take part in the Oscars.
