This yearâs WWE Royal Rumble DVD was officially released today. The DVD extras feature the January 14th, 2008 Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy match on Raw, the match includes Hardy’s swanton off the scaffolding as well as a backstage vignette featuring Triple H and John Cena after the Royal Rumble match.
Hulk Hogan, Jessica Simpson and Kiss front-man Paul Stanley are set to become unlikely neighbours as soon as their luxury penthouse suites at the new Palms Place in Las Vegas are complete. Hulk Hogan along with Jessica Simpson and Paul Stanley are the first celebrities to buy property in the new Sin City high-rise development. Hulk Huganâs penthouse will come with a breathtaking 180 degree view Las Vegas as will Paul Stanleyâs. The penthouse suites are scheduled to be complete by May 31st, 2008.

The Rock seemed to have pleased the media with his appearance at the Oscars. The following is an extract from The New York Post: “What’s with the trend toward loosely coifed half-up/half-down hair? Miss Cameron Diaz being the worst offender. Helen Mirren, giving out the Best Picture Oscar, looked even better, more regal, than she did last year, accepting her award for “The Queen.” What a woman! I expect George Clooney, leading man deluxe, to always come through. And there were other fine examples of well-dressed men, including Jack Nicholson. But the male who really made me sit up in surprise was Dwayne Johnson, better known as the Rock. I don’t know what he’s up to right now, but he could leave action films behind him. This guy knows how to wear a tux and look like a movie star! And he has a very appealing manner.”
