ECW Rating Is In, WWE HOF ’08 Tix, Rock, Miz/Morrison

Last night’s ECW did a 1.27 cable rating with 1,713,000 viewers.

Ticket prices for the WWE Hall of Fame will be $54, almost 50% less than the previous years. They will be going on sale this coming Saturday at 10AM EST on Ticketmaster. com and at the Amway Arena box office. Obviously not the whole arena will be utilized for this event but it will be configured like any awards ceremony would. WWE is listing that they would prefer if fans come dressed in business attire rather than your usual WWE event outing. So far Ric Flair, Rocky Johnson and High Chief Peter Maivia have been announced as inductees with former WWE champion The Rock as one of the presenters.

WWE Superstars John Morrison and The Miz will be at the HMV in Edinburgh, Scotland on Princes Street Thursday March 6th for the international tournament final of the ‘Smackdown! vs RAW 2008’ game on Xbox 360. The duo will also be signing autographs for free at the same location starting from 4PM local time. Two finalists from the UK along with two finalists from North America and a finalist from Europe will be going head to head in the finale at the THQ Superstar Challenge on March 27th at the House of Blues in Orlando. The grand prize-winner will receive two floor tickets to WrestleMania 24, while each finalist will receive two stadium tickets to the event. Fans can pick up free wristbands at HMV which allow them access to the signing. Wristbands will be available only from HMV Princes Street, Edinburgh from 8AM on Thursday March 6th. Lita and her band, the Luchagors, are being advertised to be performing this Friday, February 29th at the Carl Perkins Community Center in Morehead, KY. Tickets cost $10 and doors open at 6pm.

Sky Sports News, the top sports Channel in the United Kingdom has been giving its fair share of publicity in regard to the Big Show/Floyd Mayweather storyline. Sky sports News were covering the angle a lot, mentioning it repeatedly every hour.

The names of the wrestlers who faced the Big Show at this weekâ<80><99>s WWE SmackDown taping were Jay Garland and Joey Ryan. Vladimir Kozlov was the wrestler who defeated a wrestler called GQ Gallo in the dark match on SmackDown. Vladimir Kozlov also worked on this weekâ<80><99>s WWE dark match on RAW.
