Hornswoggle’s WWE Return, SD!’s New Day?, Hogan/Bischoff

Hornswoggle is scheduled to appear on Saturdayâs WWE house show in his hometown of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, according to a story in todayâs Oshkosh Northwestern. The article contains quotes from Hornswoggle, Finlay and a representative from WWE.

MyNetworkTV executive Paul Franklin was a recent guest on the Monday Night Mayhem radio show. When asked whether SmackDown! will remain on Friday nights when it moves to MyNetworkTV in September, Franklin stated “It is too early to decide one way or another.”

Hulk Hogan was interviewed this week by the Daytona Beach News-Journal about his new wrestling project with Eric Bischoff. The concept is that celebrities get pro wrestling training and then square off in the ring. Hogan commented âWeâve got some stuff going on, weâre definitely moving into that genre. We want to raise the bar. (Other wrestling) is pretty boring right now. The network will make the announcement.❠Hogan wouldnât say which network he is in talks with, and Bischoff refused to comment. Hogan and Bischoff have been pitching the idea of a reality show that’s been described as âDancing With The Stars meets Tough Enough.❠Hogan also commented on his family situation. “It’s been a couple of tough months. It’s been rough on everybody. There’s a lot more to the story (than what’s out there). Things are better for everybody. And things are better every day with Nick, too.” On a lighter note for Hogan, NBC has renewed his show “American Gladiators” for a second season, which will premiere on May 12th. It will remain in the 8PM timeslot on Monday nights.
