WWE Stars Speak On The Pressure To Perform At WrestleMania XXIV

Ryan Clark

Brian Fritz has a new article now online on the Orlando Sentinel website talking about the pressure to perform at WrestleMania. Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, and Chuck Palumbo are quoted in the article. Below are some of the notable quotes:

Chris Jericho said, “You want to try and steal the show… That’s the No. 1 goal at WrestleMania — as it is every night — but especially at WrestleMania because it’s such a rare thing to be able to do that.”

“I always thought that I was going to be the guy who will steal the show,” Shawn Michaels said. “That was the standard for me, and then it morphed into this.”

After Fritz talks more about the upcoming Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels match tommorrow night and about how there is pressure on Michaels to perform, there was a quote from Chuck Palumbo where he commented, “I can’t wait to see the match between Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair that could possibly be Flair’s last match,”
