Steve Austin’s Final Match At ‘Mania 25?, Fire Malfunction, Reid



— The the Wrestlemania XXIV fireworks malfunction incident is being covered on the news in various markets across the country. This morning on NBC’s “The Today Show”, it was said that WWE’s pyrotechnics plans were approved by the city of Orlando well in advance of the PPV broadcast.

— Speaking of the fireworks malfunction, Newsday.com reports that Zenith Pyrotechnology is the company WWE contracted to run the fireworks display at WrestleMania. Based out of Deer Park, New York, Zenith has been used for the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration and by Aretha Franklin, Boyz II Men, and Brandy. They also helped stage Mr. McMahon’s limousine explosion from last summer.

— Reid Flair has started working out in Florida Championship Wrestling, but has yet to have his first match.

— With WrestleMania 25 being announced for Houston Texas, many feel that the event could be host to Steve Austin’s final match. Houston wasn’t even a top choice for the event three months ago.
