The reason why Dusty Rhodes did not partake in the Ric Flair tribute segment on Monday’s edition of Raw is because he was in Tampa, Florida getting situated for his new position as the head creative writer for WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory. He filmed his vignette paying tribute to Flair that aired on Raw earlier on Monday.
As we reported Sunday night, former WWE superstar Andrew “Test” Martin was backstage at WrestleMania XXIV. To clear up speculation, he was not there to talk about any type of deal as he was there as a guest of his girlfriend Kelly Kelly and was visiting with friends. It was announced at last night’s SmackDown taping from Miami, Florida that there will be two WrestleMania rematches at Backlash. Chavo Guerrero will face Kane for the ECW Championship and Edge will challenge The Undertaker for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
