News On Mick Foley, RAW, The Sandman Lawsuit, Gladiators

For the week ending 3/30, Raw ranked #5 and #7 among the most watched programs viewed on DVR. South Park finished in first place.

Mick Foley has a role in the movie “Anamorph” that comes out on 4/18, and stars William Dafoe. The film is listed as a “psychological thriller.” Foley has a small speaking role as an antique store owner.

The lawsuit filed by wrestling fan Karlene Boutwell against WWE and James “The Sandman” Fullington, was thrown out a few weeks ago. The fan had claimed she was injured during The Sandman entrance back on August 8, 2006 in Nashville, TN. She was seeking $100,000 in damages.

The third season of “American Gladiators” isn’t scheduled until the summer of 2009. As previously noted, the tapings for the second season are on going through 5/6 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
