USA was once again the number one network in the basic cable prime time ratings battle last week, averaging 2.56 million viewers. They also won the Adults 25 to 54 demo, finished second (to Spike) in the 18 to 49 demo and third (behind TBS and Spike) in the Adults 18 to 34 demo.

TNA will be holding a house show at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York on May 17th, 2008. The Mid-Hudson has hosted many wrestling events there, including WWE and the original ECW. If you remember, the match with the Heenan family cutting Andre the Giant’s hair also was in that civic center.

Speaking of Poughkeepsie, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper will be appearing at the Northeast Wrestling Show this weekend, hosting a Piper’s Pit. TNA champion, Samoa Joe will be taking on Kurt Angle on that card as well. You can visit for more information.
