Major Backstage Ric Flair Update, Burke/WWE, HHH, Austin

Wrestling promoter Dale Gagner was ordered to pay $3,000 in court costs for failing to respond to WWE’s attempt to get AWA documents as part of the WWE’s lawsuit against Gagner and his company for using the AWA name. On a side note, WWE legal teams expenses against the AWA and Mr. Gagner have exceeded six figures in this case. WWE claims AWA ownership as a result of purchasing the assets of Verne Gagne’s AWA a few years ago.

Look for WWE hall of famer Ric Flair to be kept busy. Despite being off television, Flair will continue on the road doing media appearances, on-sales, autograph signings, trade shows, and other functions in representing the company. Flair should be able to make significant money doing autograph appearances. At this point, there are no plans for him to return to television. As previously reported, he doesn’t want to be an announcer or work as a road agent.

Elijah Burke also has a new video now available on the official WWE website.
