Mickie James On Kentucky Derby, Hardy’s Suspension Ends?

Mickie James, an avid horse lover, comments on last Saturday’s Kentucky Derby tragedy in the latest edition of Diva Dish on WWE.com. James said, “It’s not like the horse had a heart attack on the field or had something detrimental happen to her. She broke her ankles. So if I went out and broke my ankles, youâre going to put a bunch of ambulances around me and just shoot me up with morphine? Because they are athletes just like us!” Diva Dish also notes that a few of the Raw Divas visited Trish Stratus’ yoga studio in Vaughan, Ontario.

The Great Khali recently met with underprivileged kids in Mumbai to tell them he hopes to build a school for them. He also wants WWE to build a training facility for future wrestlers in India to give the kids something to aim for. Khali denied that violence in wrestling can have an adverse affect on kids. “It is a sport like other sports,” he said, “but children should not fight at home.”

Jeff Hardy’s 60-day suspension for a second violation of WWE’s Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy ends tonight. Technically, he is eligible to appear at tomorrow night’s Raw brand house show in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Hardy is advertised to appear at some Raw brand house shows next month.
