Rey Mysterio & Jim Ross Both Upset Over WWE Draft Results

Much like Jim Ross, Rey Mysterio was not happy about being drafted from Smackdown to RAW. He took pride in the fact that the Smackdown brand was more concerned with attracting the Latino demographic. Like most wrestlers, he was also upset that he would be leaving some friends behind and felt snubbed because the company didnât warn him ahead of time.

Although the initial feeling was that company officials tipped of Batista about moving to Raw, apparently he had no idea until the announcement was made on live TV. Those within the company feel that Batista should be thrilled about the move since he will now be featured as one of the main players on Raw along with Cena and Orton.

Apparently Triple H is the only person who was told in advance that he would be switching brands. Umaga also likely had a pretty good idea that he was going since Vince McMahon mentioned in a shareholders meeting that he was moving to Smackdown.
