Big Daddy V Returning, JR’s Salary Equals Adamle’s, DiBiase

source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Big Daddy V has been off TV due to pressure from the company to lose weight, however we can now report that he was also battling pneumonia. It appears he is presently healthy and should be making his Smackdown return very soon.

SmackDown play-by-play announcer Jim Ross reportedly makes the same amount of money as ECW announcer Mike Adamle. Both are believed to be making in the neighborhood of $300,000 per year. In 2005, WWE offered Mike Goldberg far more money to jump from UFC to Raw. Vince should throw $5 more dollars into Adamle’s contract and get the guy an English book.

Ted DiBiase’s older brother Mike DiBiase, 30, who works the indy circuit, got a look at last week’s Raw taping in San Antonio. The youngest DiBiase brother, Brett DiBiase, 20, is currently training at WWE’s facility in Tampa to be a pro wrestler. There was recently an article on “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase in Clinton (MS) News and he said, “My understanding is that Brett is becoming a standout student. All my wrestling friends tell me, ‘The kidâ<80><99>s got it.'” Now that he’s no longer in developmental, Ted Jr. is planning on moving back to Clinton, MS at the end of the year, and will be marrying his high school sweetheart.
