Chalk yet another one up to Vince McMahon and his crazy rib shenanigans! ProWrestling.net is reporting that Michael Cole did not know about Jim Ross interrupting his “Farewell Speech” on the Smackdown tapings in Tulsa. The segment did not air, but Cole was thinking he was going to get the same type of deal Ross got on Raw, but McMahon sent Ross out to give him the early, unexpected nudge out the door.
Jim Ross’s Family Bar-B-Q business handled the catering backstage that same night. Additionally, one of his restaurants hosted an after party for WWE personnel where there was reportedly 100 people or more in attendance.
