“Alexis Laree” (WWE’s Mickie James), is number one on Yahoo’s most popular searches today. A couple of readers pointed this out and asked why. I can’t actually give an explanation since she isn’t making waves or anything outside of simply being the women’s champion. I wonder if her ears are ringing.
The Biography Channel is running biographies on Andre The Giant and Hulk Hogan on Wednesday starting at 9pm EST.
Speaking of Hogan, Eric Bischoff has been responding to comments from his latest blog on his website. Some have been asking whether or not Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling would be airing in Canada, in which he responded that it would be. He also made mention of the company touring some with the celebrities and said that more information would be released in the next few weeks.
When we had Eric on the Voice of Wrestling last month, he made mention that him and Hogan see the reality show as a possibility to open people’s eyes to a different side of the business. He teased the idea of it leading to something more in the future as it pertains to a “traditional” type of wrestling business, but also added that he and Hulk have decided that anything they decide to do in the wrestling industry will more than likely be done together from now on.
