TNA Notes: Latest “Spin Cycle”, Kaz Update, Shawn Daivari, More

The latest edition of “Spin Cycle” has been posted on TNAWrestling.com. Glenn Gilbertti did not make his much-anticipated cameo (sarcasm, anyone?), but you do get to hear Karen Angle discuss fart stories and suggest giving Don West a “Dutch Oven”. Fun segment as always and topics include Sting, Brett Favre, animal attacks, breast implants, and more.

Readers have sent in word that Kaz has been working recent house shows against Petey Williams. They are non-title matches and Kaz is unfortunately still on the losing end. For those that also noticed and sent word, they did not announce his “release” on this edition of Impact and went along with the “Karen’s Angle” segment, which is apparently a two-part series. The first edition did not mention him leaving the company either. They were, however, taped a week and a half in advance though and it’s next to impossible for them to change direction in such a short time.

Daivari started the first of what I believe is going to be a four-part series of vignettes for TNA this past week on Impact. They have changed his name to Sheik Abdul Bashir as he takes the angle of living the “American Dream” better than most Americans, despite our country making it tough on him marking him as a terrorist due to the color of his skin. He is in the process of having his contract notarized and will also be appearing on the Voice of Wrestling this Monday night from 7:00-9:00 EST, right here on WrestleZone.com. He will be handling his own bookings while working for the company and if you have interest in booking him, the email address is bookdaivari@gmail.com.
