The following are TNA house show figures from their recent tour of Texas:

August 1 in Corpus Christi, TX drew 2,200 fans.

August 2 in Laredo, TX drew 1,200 fans.

It should be known that both Corpus Christi and Laredo have always been large wrestling draws, so it is surprising that the Laredo number was not larger than it turned out to be.

The following is a detailed breakdown of the latest WWE and TNA television ratings:

The 8/4 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw drew a final 3.4 cable rating (or a 3.44) with 5.06 million viewers.

The 8/2 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC drew a final and very low 1.4 broadcast rating with 2.26 million viewers. The show did a 0.6 in males 18-34 and 1.2 in males 35-49. NBC finished in last place for the night in the timeslot. To put into perspective just how bad this rating was, that number was lower than any XFL game and the XFL was considered to be one of the biggest flops in modern television history.

The 8/1 edition of WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew a final 2.4 broadcast rating (or a 2.36) with 4.02 million viewers. It was the highest rated network show in every male demographic from children to adults.

The 7/31 edition of TNA Impact drew a final 1.1 cable rating (rounded up from a 1.08) with 1.6 million viewers. This turned out to be the most actual viewers the show has drawn since February. The show did a much higher 1.36 rating among male teenagers. Other numbers were a 1.05 in males 35-49 (the highest in a long time) and 0.96 in males 50+. The show was lower in the key male 18-34 demographic doing a 0.60.

It should be noted that this Impact was an experiment and was considered a success in putting the Knockouts in the main event. TNA Knockouts Champion Taylor Wilde & Gail Kim vs. The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) in the main event drew a 1.18 rating and was the highest quarter hour of the show.

The 7/29 edition of ECW on Sci Fi drew a final 1.4 cable rating (or a 1.42) with 1.91 million viewers. The show has continued a streak of a large increase in viewers since the 2008 WWE Draft in late June. For those who missed it, last night’s show was back up to a 1.5. We will have details on that rating next week.
