Vince Not Happy With R-Truth, WWE Interested In Lucha Star

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Vince McMahon was apparently very upset with how R-Truth’s debut came off on last week’s edition of Smackdown. Vince had wanted Truth to dominate his opponent so he would instantly appear as a top level star, but instead Killings worked a back and forth style match that saw him make a comeback late in the match. There was apparently a communication issue between Vince and the road agents as they booked Killings to work a competitive match as opposed to a squash.

WWE has been showing great interest in bringing in more Latin talent recently, and one of the workers they’ve had their eye on is CMLL star Perro Aguayo, Jr. It’s being reported, however, that Aguayo has no interest in joining WWE, as he makes very good money in CMLL and has a lot more power within the company than he would have with WWE. He also fears that WWE creative would book him as a comedy act and use him improperly.
