PCW Show With Virgil Defending TNA Belt, Admits False Promotion

I received the following e-mail from somone claiming to be Adam Knight, the wrestler who “defeated” Virgil in a “promoted” TNA Title Match, but as noted earlier this all may not have happened at all.

Clearly some folk in Winn*peg have way too much free time, but to further flush out the “story” here we go.

He writes

“I have been flooded with e-mails and phone calls regarding our show last night in Rokeby, SK. To set the record straight, the only reason we did the angle was because it was in a small town where we didn’t think smart fans would be attending. The show was isolated from major cities. I think one of the boys sent in the e-mail as they were hot about something. I think I know who it is and they will be dealt with. I have no problem policing the business.

If Andrew didn’t have a big mouth things would be much easier. Yes we false advertised a few guys. Namely Samoa Joe and Kenny Omega. Local Kid Xtreme who looks very similar to KO worked as Omega as we knew the fans wouldn’t know any better and they didn’t.

I have nothing but respect for Samoa Joe. I wrestled him once and had a great match. In all honesty I would be in TNA if it weren’t for jobbers like Johnny Devine causing me heat. Looking back I would have done things differently. I sat down with Virgil and he thought we were really on to something. I am not going to turn down advice from a guy who has made a living doing this for years. He made well over a hundred bucks at the merch table showing he stil has drawing power in Canada.

I am officially dropping the angle. I will not be advertised as the TNA World champion on the next show. I apologize on behalf of myself and Premier Championship Wrestling.

Adam Knight.” (This was not Adam Knight)
