I was just listening to the Colin Cowherd radio show this morning, and he reported that Monday Night Football drew a humongous 13.9 cable rating this past Monday night. The Cowboys are a natural ratings draw, and when you factor in a huge rivalry game against the Eagles, you get what you got on Monday night. Next weeks match-up of The Jets vs The Chargers will not pull the same number by any stretch, so if WWE pops a 2.6 next week, it will reflect a major problem. In WWE’s defense, they did put together a solid show last night, and advertised two huge matches, one of them being a championship cage match, which shows they were aware of the stiff competition they were up against.
