“Boogie Woogie Boy” Gary Valiant and the powers that be at Showtime All-Star Wrestling have apparently agreed to set aside their differences. Valiant returned to the SAW Mill in Millersville, TN, with a run-in at Friday’s television taping, the first night of a double shot weekend featuring Raven. Valiant left SAW in June after a falling out with Reno Riggins and company. Within a few weeks, Valiant was in a title program at United States Wrestling Organization with Champion Jeremiah Plunkett, and a major player in NWA Main Event, where he feuded with Jeff Daniels’ crew.
USWO results from September 19 in Nashville, TN, at the Stadium Inn: 32 in attendance per Jimmie Daniel. Travis Starr & Dyronic beat Convict & Bizarre-O via stereo rollups, Jeremiah Plunkett beat Psycho Medic via submission, White Tiger beat Bryan Casey by DQ after Casey hit Tiger with a chair, Cousin Jason X beat USWO Jr. Champion Josh Crowe in a non-title match, USWO Tag Team Champions New York Gangster & Damien Payne vs Shane Smalls & Bryan Casey went to a double countout due to brawling outside the ring. USWO Champion Gary Valiant (w/Miss Boogie) vs. Snake Jones was a no contest after Jones pulled ref Mark Owen in front of a Valiant superkick. Owen tried to award the belt to Jones but was stopped by promoter Tony Falk, who held up the title.
Alternative Pro Wrestling results from September 19 at the Royston, GA, Gym are as follows: Kareem Abdul Jamar defeated Brad Logan. Aaron Lee stated that he was not going to face Chris King and Consequences Creed in the scheduled tag match and that North Georgia Champion Seth Delay would be subbing for him. Furthermore, Lee staked his claim as the number one contender for the North Georgia Championship, and stated that if King’s team won the tag match main event, he would face King next week with the winner to become the #1 contender. Brandon Parker defeated Adam Mabry. Nightmare on Cherry Street 2008 was announced for October 24 with Wild Billy Buck challenging Southern States Champion Shadow Jackson in the main event. Don Matthews & Bo Newsome defeated Azrael & Darkness. APW Tag Team Champions The Franchise (Matt Sells & Ryan Michaels) defeated Dustin Michaels & Anthony Henry. Stryknyn & Danny Only defeated Shadow Jackson & Billy Buck after Jackson inadvertently hit Buck with the 10-31. Jeremy Vain defeated Slim J. Chris King & Consequences Creed defeated Seth Delay & The Royston Brawler earning King the one on one match with Lee.

Don McIntyre had been the reigning Southern Heavyweight Champion since he defeated Freddie Blassie on September 7, 1956, in Atlanta.
