Several recent reports here at Wrestlezone.com exposed the false promoting of Kevin Nash by a promoter in W VA. Kevin Nash is no longer being promoted for the 10-9 XWE event, and the promoter is offering refunds. Hopefully, that is really the case.
The reports also noted monies owed to wrestlers by other West Virginia promoters, $650 to Kip James by Gary Damron of All-Star Wrestling and $300 to Elix Skipper by Dennis Richardson who calls himself “Shady”.
These are not the only promoters out there who owe wrestlers money.
Here’s one more:
AT Huck of IWF in Michigan who owes Bobby Roode and Rhino fees from a show in Deerborn, MI on 8-25-07. I recently communicated with him, as the promotion is still running shows, and he responded as follows, “I will pay when I get the money out of my own pocket. I’m only part of this in name only now.” Awesome!
I will continue to identify other promoters who owe money, know they owe money but can’t even send $20 to pay down that admitted debt. That these folk continue to promote is a shame as clearly they will fail to pay someone else in the future.
