International Star Denies Signing a WWE Deal

It was reported recently on PWIINSIDER and elsewhere that EMLL (CMLL) star Don Caras, Jr had come to term with WWE, but he confused his situation involving EMLL & WWE on Friday saying that he plans on staying in EMLL for the rest of the year. He said that he was not offered enough money by the WWE to make him jump on a whim so he said that he would wait them out and would continue to work for EMLL for at least the next 3 months. He said he spoke to Paco Alonso and EMLL officials on Wednesday directly clearing up any problems that may have existed. He denied that he would be appearing on WWE shows next week when they tour Mexico because there is no contract and wonât be until they meet his demands.

Caras did say that while he would stay with EMLL he only said through the end of the year and that he’d still take offers, so this may simply mean he has not yet signed a contract with WWE. Prior to starting with WWE he would need to pass wellness tests and WWE would need to file to get him a work visa, a process that can take up to a month or more.
