TNA Signs a Top All Japan Star, Jeff Hardy Backs Out of Blogging

TNA recently signed All Japan Pro Wrestling star Akira Raijin to a 2 year deal according to several new reports. Jeff Jarrett reportedly saw Raijin work a dark match a few months ago and was impressed with him enough that he told Terry Taylor to bring him into the company. It should be noted, however, that TNA has no plans to use Raijin immediately, although his contract has been signed. Raijin is currently accepting independent bookings at canamwrestling@hotmail.com.

We reported yesterday that Jeff Hardy was among three wrestlers that would be voted by the WWE fans to take part in a live blog leading up to the Cyber Sunday PPV last night. Although he was chosen over his brother Matt and Kelly Kelly, for reasons unknown at this time, Hardy backed out of participating in the blog, and was replaced by Natalya and ECW GM Teddy Long.
