Mid-South Wrestling results 11/1 Hot Springs, AR

A hot crowd jammed the Hot Springs (AR) High School Gym for a thrilling night of Mid-South Wrestling on Saturday, November 1. Here are the results.

Space Cowboy Jason Jones defeated Matt Riviera.

Jeff Jett beat The Insane Medic.

In a Grudge Match, All American Mark Johnson defeated “Bruiser” Rick Sweetan (accompanied by manager Boyd Bradford).

The first ever Hot Springs Faculty Lumberjack Match featured NWA-OK Champion Spoiler 2000 winning over “The New Age Superstar” Gary Gram. After the match (in which Mid South Tag Team Champs Reckage and Romance aided Spoiler 2000 by giving him a foreign object), friends of Gary Gram, Apocalypse and Jason Jones came to his defense and challenged Riviera and Jett to a tag title match.

In a close, fast-paced match, Mid-South Tag Champs Reckage & Romance (Jeff Jett and Matt Riviera) successfully defended their belts against Jones and Apocalypse. During the match Riviera and Apocalypse put on a wrestling clinic matching hold for hold and reversal for reversal.

The main event had Mid-South Wrestling International Champion The Atomic Dogg face off against Tim Storm, managed by General Skandor Akbar. These two powerhouses battled back and forth for a long time but Akbar could not help but get involved in the match. He slid his riding crop into the ring and Storm grabbed it to use it against Dogg. But Dogg saw it coming and powered through and beat Storm with a Senton Back Splash to retain the title and send the fans home on a happy note.
