Jeremy Vain came to the ring at the start of the show and demanded the Southern States title be returned to him immediately. He announced that his lawyers have filed a motion to have the decision overturned, making him the rightful champion. Chris King came to the ring to congratulate Vain on being the only man to win and lose the title in less than a minute. Before things got out of hand, APW announcer Brett Wolverton informed Vain that a decision would be made on Aftershock regarding the status of the Championship. Vain vowed to send a message to “Champion” Billy Buck through his friend, Chris King.

Chris King defeated Jeremy Vain by DQ ***Vain had King down, and went for the Clorox bleach. Before Vain could do anything, Billy Buck, the rightful Southern States Champion, intervened and Vain ran off like the coward that he is.
