The lineup for tonightâs SmackDown broadcast on MyNetwork TV, from World Wrestling Entertainment, is as follows: in three matches where the winner with the fastest time challenges Edge for the WWE Heavyweight Title at Armageddon, Brian Kendrick versus Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy versus Vladimir Kozlov, and Shelton Benjamin versus Triple H; Natalya, Maryse & Victoria versus Michelle McCool & the Bella Twins; and Jesse & Festus versus John Morrison & the Miz.

Those who will be honored are Evan â~Stranglerâ Lewis, Antonio Inoki, Wladek Zbyszko, Lou Albano, Billy Graham, Randy Savage, Jay Strongbow, Paul Orndorff, Donna Christianello, and the tag team of Mark Lewin & Don Curtis. Hank Garrett will receive the Senator Hugh Farley Award.
Results from NWA Main Event’s Tennessee Homecoming 2008 show in Nashville, TN, at the Nick Gulas Sports Arena on Thanksgiving Night, with attendance reported at over 250: Scott Hayes won the double ring battle royal to win the 2008 Nick Gulas Memorial Cup and a check for $1,000.00. Big Bully Douglas defeated Seven. Larry Cooter beat Anthony Ingram. Shawn Shultz defeated Matt Boyce. Aiden Scott won over Chris Cain to become the new NWA Mid-America X Division Champion. Shane Smalls defeated Steve O to become the new NWA Mid-America Heavyweight Champion. “Playboy” Scott Hayes over “Crippler” Jeff Daniels to become the new NWA Mid-America Heavyweight Champion. Doug Gilbert defeated Brian Christopher.
The November 29 NWA Anarchy event in Cornelia, GA, is a benefit for âJoeyâs Toy Box,” a charity started by 9 year old cancer patient Joey Doolittle to provide toys for kids in the cancer center at Childrenâs Healthcare of Atlanta-Scottish Rite and Egelston. Bronko Lubich managed Angelo Poffo. For the match between Poffo & Lubich and Paul Anderson & Paul Jones, Anderson vowed that if he had to tag in Jones, he would concede the match. Charlie Harben and Jack Steele were credited as being referees on this card. According to the program for this card, the âLive Atlanta Wrestlingâ television program can now be seen âon Channel 11 every Saturday afternoon at 6:00â. In this program, Ray Gunkel & Chief Little Eagle were International Tag Team Champions, though it is unclear as to how they came to be recognized as such. The last reference we have shows Freddie Blassie & Bob Shipp defeating Ray Gunkel & Nick Roberts to win the title on October 10, 1958, in Atlanta. It was announced that Bud Richardson would wrestle Tex Brady on the card on December 5, 1958. It was also announced that Benny Matta, Ali Bey, Art Nelson, and the Mighty Yankee would be wrestling in Atlanta soon. Benny Matta participated in an autograph session for fans.

Seigler & Apollo had been the reigning Macon Tag Team Champions since they defeated Rocket Monroe & Skandor Akbar on November 14, 1972, in Macon. Of course, in reality, he was declaring the title vacant as all four men had unexpectedly defected to the All-South Wrestling Alliance since that card.
