Monday’s edition of the Sports Buffet, hosted by ‘Chef’ Tim Dix, along with Rich Tate, featured legendary UGA football coach Vince Dooley. Dooley spoke a bit about several topics, including what he is doing today, his love of gardening, his books and upcoming projects, Super Bowl XLIII, and more. He also talked about the firing of UGA basketball coach Dennis Felton, and his thoughts on Bobby Knight. In addition, Dix and Tate covered the Super Bowl, the Braves, Hawks, Thrashers, and much more. World Wrestling Entertainment results from the RAW broadcast on the USA Network at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, MO, on February 2: the show opened with Shane McMahon announcing he would face Randy Orton in a no-holds-barred match at No Way Out – Orton came out and said the only reason McMahon was able to take out him, Cody Rhodes, and Ted DiBiase, Jr., last week was because they didn’t want to fight back and risk being attacked by everyone from the locker room; William Regal & Layla over CM Punk & Mickie James – Regal said he was invoking his rematch clause for Punk’s WWE Inter-Continental Heavyweight Title next week on RAW; Rhodes & DiBiase, Jr., versus Cryme Tyme ended in a no contest; Chris Jericho ran down Mickey Rourke for pulling out of WrestleMania, and said “the Wrestler” is only indicative of people who can’t hang it up like Jimmy Snuka, Roddy Piper, and Ric Flair, with a ton of ripping on Flair for doing autograph sessions in high school gyms – John Cena then said he’s going to take care of Jericho later in the show; Mike Knox & Kane over Kofi Kingston & Rey Mysterio, Jr.; Orton, Rhodes, and DiBiase are seen attacking Shane backstage, accidentally knocking Stephanie down – security tried to break it up while Orton almost delivered his kick to Shane, but then backed off and thought about doing it to Stpehanie, but security was finally able to break it up; Beth Phoenix, with Santino Marella and Rosa Mendez, over Candice Michelle, ending with Mendez attacking Michelle; Jerry Lawler announces that Flair will be at next week’s RAW to address Jericho and his comments; JBL offers Shawn Michaels a deal he couldn’t turn down – Michaels accepted a match with JBL at Now Way Out – if JBL wins, he owns Michaels and makes money off of him forever, but if Michaels wins, JBL is out of his contract; Stephanie and Kane are seen in an office where she asks him if things are handled – Kane says yes, so Stephanie says he is now officially in the elimination chamber at No Way Out, and that Randy Orton will face the Undertaker next week on RAW; and Cena over Jericho to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

It appears that the January 29 USA show at the Nashville Fairgrounds, featuring the return of Mike Rapada, was the last hurrah in Bert Prentice’s most recent attempt to run the venue on a weekly basis. A source close to the situation indicated that Prentice was unable to secure the building for February. George Gulas will be promoting at the Fairgrounds under the NWA Main Event banner starting in March. Plans are to run one blow off show per month based on the weekly TV tapings at their new venue on
