Former ECW Star Retires, Brother Ray Speaks on Christian

Nick Paglino

Mikey Whipwreck, a former ECW star, recently announced his retirement from pro wrestling at an indy event. He explained that yesterday would be his final in-ring appearance, however he will continue to run his wrestling school, The New York Wrestling Connection, and train upcoming wrestlers. Former WWE Tag Team Champions Zach Ryder and Curt Hawkins both matriculated from Whipwreck’s school.

Team 3D’s Brother Ray recently appeared on The Between The Ropes Radio Show and had this to say about Christian:

"Christian is a hell of a talented person…I just don’t think that TNA was the right place for him, and quite honestly, I don’t think that going back to WWE is the right fit for him either. I hope he’s happy with whatever he does. I hope he makes a lot of money. I hope all goes well for him."
