OK, I wrote that I had posted my last story on the Josph Rogers promoted EW show recently in Butler, PA and I had every intention of letting it all just ooze off into the sunset,but then someone whop had been referenced but had not commented, weighed in, and sent me some e-mails.
BTW, Pat Kenney (Simon Diamond) loves it when folk weigh in on websites and he plans to weigh in at some point too….I’m guessing at something over 200 pounds, but we will have to wait and see.ite
I heard from Aaron Lester, and I was right the first time that it is spelled "Lester".
Mr. Rogers had suggested to me that Mr. Lester was supposed to be financial involved in the EWA sow. Mr. Lester says not so much.
Mr Lester sent the following to me.
hello my name is aaron lester. I heard ive been put into this joe rogers mess. Just so you know i had nothing to do with that show. I was booked to manage neal haley. Joe did ask to borrow money 3 times. Once in a email tuesday before the show. And twice the day of the show. I dont know the man other than through mutual friends. We spoke only 4 times over the phone. Hes a fraud who will do what he needs to keep running shows. I do invest in local shows but never the first show. I left jim millers pwx because i was losing money due to lack of knowledge of the promoter. I thought jim was smart. Thats another story. Point is i didnt know joe and i wasnt making the same mistake. Something joe knew because i told him no the first time he asked. I hope you see through his bullshit and know i wasnt a partner. If i was the show wouldve been paid for up front. By the way it was miller who screwed me out of the rave deal. He wanted someone else to do the deal not
me. Politics i guess. But jim never gave a reason
I wrote back asking if he wanted it posted here. He responded:
yes if you would it would be a blessing. Also i forwarded the last email i got from joe rogers. This email is from march 3rd. In it hes still asking me to invest after being told no weeks prior to this. The most i ever offered was time to pass out flyers. I told him he would lose money in that area. Another promoter has been there for years. They ran the night before joes show and drew 400. In that same area. Joe rogers is a con and plans on running again. So hell deflect the blame on anyone he dont like. Thank you for your time. And i hope we can do business now that im not with miller anymore.

I was thinking tonite at work and I remeber when u asking if I need anything for this show.. Well since u gonna be at the show and be neil manager do u want to get ur feet wet lil bit? I mean I dont need huge invested do u wanna invest like 500 into the show and get like small percentage of the gate after all bills are paid?
