Hall Of Fame Battle!

SGT. SLAUGHTER vs. GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE

The Sarge returns to Franklin! As Greg "The Hammer" Valentine continues to be a thorn in the side of IWC’s annual Night of Legends events, IWC officials have called upon an old friend to return to Franklin and take care of him! Valentine showed up in 2007 with the incomparable "Sweet & Sour" Larry Sweeney, attempting to take advantage of hid old Intercontinental Championship rival Tito Santana & Ivan Putski. But Putski had other plans for Sweeney and that led to Valentine’s downfall! Then in 2008, Valentine was attempting to prove he was the real star behind The Dream Team as he took on Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. But once again, he fell to his old partner. This year, Valentine returns but this time, he’ll have Sgt. Slaughter standing in his way! Will Valentine finally pick up the win he seeks in Franklin? Or will Slaughter’s return be a victorious one?

OLD RIVALS TANGLE!

"SUPERFLY" JIMMY SNUKA vs. "COWBOY" BOB ORTON

WrestleMania I’s main event will forever be remembered as Hulk Hogan & Mr. T took on Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorff. But the two teams’ cornermen were just as instrumental in that match as the participants were. The legendary Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka will be taking on second generation superstar "Cowboy" Bob Orton! What more can be said about these two huge superstars that hasn’t already been said before? Snuka is an innovator in high-flying and aerial wrestling abilities. Orton’s legacy can be felt through the generations as his father was a wrestler, and of course, his son is currently at the top of WWE Raw. Who will come out on top as these two old rivals tangle in Franklin?

ONE MAN GANG vs. "HACKSAW" JIM DUGGAN

Also on March 29th, the big, bad One Man Gang will make his IWC debut as he takes on former IWC Tag Team Champion and WWE legend "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan! Duggan makes his return to IWC for the first time in over four years to take on one-half of the Twin Towers, a jive soul bro, and a former member of Kevin Sullivan’s Dungeon Of Doom! IWC staff will need to reinforce the ring as these two big brawlers come face to face in Franklin!

IWC WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH

SHIIMA XION vs. RAYMOND ROWE

IWC Promoter Norm Connors could not be reached for comment regarding the events of this past Saturday’s Accept No Limitations 5. Our Notorious promoter was not in the building, but was the focal point of the evening. After screwing Shiima Xion out of the title, Connors ruled that IWC World Heavyweight Champion Raymond Rowe would defend the title against Gambino flunky Chest Flexor, hardly a formidable opponent for the “Baddest Man in IWC”. Rowe made quick work of Flexor only to be met by “DeeeeeeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco! DeMarco announced that his appointment of Deputy Commissioner by Dennis Gregory back in the month of May by Dennis Gregory was an official position in IWC, and with Norm nor Denny in the building, Jimmy was in charge. He ordered Rowe to defend the title in a rematch against Xion, with No DQ! The tow men battled around the building, and saw a bevy of men attempt to interfere, including the Irish Airborne, The Best Around, and Shane Taylor. But Jimmy came to the rescue with a C4 on a chair to Rowe, followed by a huge frog splash by Xion for the win, and the IWC Championship! Xion told Norm that he would have to come to Mexico while Xion competes for the AAA promotion to get the IWC Title. However, Connors was quick to sign a rematch between Shiima and Rowe for March 28th’s Night of Legends 2009. Will Xion be able to hold on to the title and bring it south of the border? Or will Rowe become a 2-time champion chosen by Norm?

IWC TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

IRISH AIRBORNE vs. THE GAMBINO BROTHERS

Another story coming out of Accept No Limitations was the tag team scene. The Irish Airborne defended the IWC Tag Team Championships against The Best Around. After the match, both teams apparently became best friends, and ridiculed the crowd. Sexual Harassment came to the ring only to be assaulted by both teams. The Gambino Brothers, longtime Harassment rivals, hit the ring for an apparent 6-on-2 beatdown. But, to the surprise of everybody (Harassment included), the Gambinos chased off Airborne & TBA out of respect for Sexual Harassment. Later, during the IWC Title Match between Shiima Xion & Ray Rowe, Airborne & TBA attempted to interfere on behalf of IWC Promoter Norm Connors. Harassment and the Gambinos ran both teams off, ensuring that no more interference from those teams would come about. Now, it will be a battle of two brother teams, as Jake & Dave Cirst of Irish Airborne will have to defend their titles against former 5-time IWC Tag Team Champions Mickey & Marshall, the Gambinos!

IWC Women’s Match

DAFFNEY vs. DAIZEE HAZE

In addition to huge legends matches, we have signed our first Night of Legends Women’s Match! On January 24th, Daizee Haze & IWC Super Indy Champion Delirious teamed up to take on the first-time-duo of "The New Horror" Sami Callihan & former WCW Cruiserweight Champion Daffney. As Daffney and Delirious were distracted on the floor, Callihan snuck in and delivered a crushing Back Drop Driver to The Haze, allowing Daffney to pick up the victory. On March 29th, the two women will do battle one-on-one in an IWC ring! Will The Haze be able to avenge her loss? Or can Daffney pick up a second win in IWC rings without the help of The New Horror?

GEORGE "THE ANIMAL" STEELE

returns to Western PA!

In 1967, a young masked wrestler known only as The Student developed a new, wild personality. As he dropped the mask, a legend was born as George "The Animal" Steele was born! On March 29th in Franklin, PA, he returns to Western Pennsylvania, where it all began! Hide the turnbuckles!

Plus all the fun & surprises you’ve come to expect from IWC!

SUPER INDY VIII: 12 MEN, 2 NIGHTS, 1 TITLE

For the first time ever, IWC’s Super Indy Tournament will be held over the course of two nights. May 15th and 16th will hold Super Indy VIII. The venues, belltimes, and more have yet to be announced, but all 12 men in the tournament have been set.

Super Hentai (Super Indy I winner)

"Classic" Colt Cabana (Super Indy II winner)

"Fabulous" John McChesney (Super Indy IV winner, 5-time Super Indy Champion)

Delirious (Super Indy V winner, 2-time Super Indy Champion)

"Sweet N Sour" Larry Sweeney (Super Indy VI winner, 2-time Super Indy Champion)

Davey Richards (Super Indy VII finalist)

"Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels (Super Indy I finalist)

2 Cold Scorpio

Justin Idol

Elijah Burke

Michael "The Bomber" Facade

Joey Ryan

The first four chronological winners of Super Indy Tournaments entered into Super Indy VIII (Hentai, Cabana, McChesney, Delirious) will recieve a bye to the quarter final round, and will begin their quest for the championship during the Saturday, May 16th event. The remaining eight competitors will square off in Night One of the Super Indy VIII Tournament.

The first opening round match on May 15th will be Davey Richards taking on 2 Cold Scorpio! This match speaks for itself as aerial innovator Scorpio will be faced with the challenge of the Super Indy VII finalist Richards. More first round pairings will be announced in the weeks leading up to Super Indy VIII!

Also for May 15th, IWC officials have signed a no disqualification match between IWC Super Indy Champion Delirious will take on "The New Horror" Sami Callihan! In January at A New Beginning Woooooo, Delirious and his manager/friend/translator Daizee Haze were involved in a mixed tag team match against Callihan and Daffney. While Delirous was down on the floor and Daizee was distracted by Daffney, Callihan snuck in and gave The Haze a disgusting Back Drop Driver on her head to pick up the win. When Delirious took on Elijah Burke at Accept No Limitations 5, Burke kept making comments towards Daizee, and Delirious was obviously distracted in his attempts to protect her. Delirious wants revenge against Callihan, but will he be able to focus?

IWC officials are negotiating a huge main event for the May 15th Super Indy VIII: Night One live event, featuring two performers who have never stepped into an IWC ring! More will be announced here as it becomes available!
