I was at the Glasgow Show at Braehead Arena on Friday, April 17th and thought I’d send along a full report of the show.
The place was packed with "Tiny Cena’s" and "Tiny(er) Mysterio’s"
Match 1) Kofi Kingston v The Miz- Not a bad match but the crowd failed to get behind anything, Kofi was Impressive but Miz looked TERRIBLE!, Kofi won with Trouble in Paradise
Winner- Kofi Kingston
Match 2) Regal (with Layla) v Haas- Regal came out and was boo’ed to hell, said "I’m as close to hell as i’ll ever be, surrounded by 3,000 Scots", the match was a MASSIVE disappointment, was a bad match and the kids had no idea who Haas was, he wasn’t even in "character", Regal won with the Knee to the Skull

Match 3) Santino v Golddust- Santino comes out and is loved by the Scottish fans, about 30-40 wearing the red t-shirt and three signs, one even had lights on it!!! Santino says "i love you scotland because we have something in common, you love me and i love me", Golddust comes out and no one over 4 foot knows who he is, Match was funny, Santino faked an ankle injury and was power walking it off, Santino wins with the roll up, Crowd go wild

Match 4) Woman’s Title Match Beth (with Rosa Mendes) V Melina With Special Guest Ref Kelly Kelly Kelly (i know i put 3 kelly’s)- Usual Diva match, Melina wins with a move i haven’t seen before, kicks beth in the head and slides into the splits for the pin
Winner- Melina
Interval, the crowd where really quite through the first half and it put a downer on everything.
Match 5) Tag Team Tittle Match The Colons v Kane and Mike Knox- Kane got a huge response from the crowd (you would have thought he was the Face), Match could have been a disaster, Primo messed up alot of moves and didn’t sell anything realistically, Kane did what he could to carry it but the credit goes to Knox, for about 5 minuites he was pounding Carlito and made it look fantastic, he needs to lose some weight but from what i saw tonight the guy was really really impressive, Carlito and Primo win, Primo hits Knox with a Cross-Body from the top rope and Carlito hits him with a Backstabber at the same time

Match 6) C.M. PUNK v Y2J- Jericho is on the mic boasting about how he is the best wrestler in the world and is better than everyone, Punk comes out to a HUGE cheer, PUNK! PUNK! PUNK!(same guy had another light up sign for punk) all match, the match was the best of the night, both guys took a beating for a while, at one point Punk hit the GTS and Jericho rolled out of the ring to stop the pin, punk pulled him back in and ended up in the walls of Jericho, Punk got the ropes and whilst Jericho is arguing with the Ref Punk gets a second GTS and wins
Winner- CM Punk
DX Music hits and the Crowd went MAD, Tony Chimel then announces the next show will be November 5th and is called the "DX INVASION TOUR"
Final Match- Cena and Mysterio v Edge and Big show- Crowd went mental for both Cena and Rey, i was really surprised there was only a few "Cena Sucks Chant" and at one point a group of kids started a "Edge Can’t Wrestle" chant and i nearly fell off my seat laughing, the match was its as usual boring, Edge and Rey carried it, Edge was flirting with girls in the front row which was hilarious, Big Show was surprisingly good, he was picking Rey up and throwing him like a doll, at one point Rey was out side on the floor and big show grabbed his head with one hand and lifted him over the rope and slammed him to the matt, Edge "Accidentally" speared Show allowing Cena and Rey win with a 619 to Edge and a AA to Show

I went down to see the guys get on their busses and Carlito came over and signed a few autographs and most of the guys waived over to us. A little kid got crushed when an ambulance drove into the Security barrier and Mike Knox went into his bus with what looked like a bottle of Vodka and a bottle of Whisky. Apart from that nothing interesting.
