Thanks to reader David Schmidt for sending in these live results as they happen:

The Dark Match from Raw tonight saw William Regal defeat Dolph Ziggler.

LIVE RAW RESULTS:

The show opens with Chris Jericho hitting the ring and cutting a promo. He is then interrupted by Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. After some back and forth between the two, it is announced that at Backlash, it will be Jericho vs Steamboat in a one-on-one match. Before going to commercial break, Cena hits the ring and says that he received word from Vickie Guerrero that he will be facing Jericho on tonight’s show.

Back from break and the first match of the night is Batista vs Chavo Guerrero. Batista picks up the win in what was apparently a blink-of-the-eye squash match. After the match, Batista hit Guerrero with a second Batista Bomb after Chavo complained that he wasn’t ready to start the match.

Next up is CM Punk vs Kane, which saw CM Punk get the win with a reversal of Kane’s chokeslam into a roll up. According to David, the match was restarted and the finish was done again, as it looked like the two messed up the finish the first time around. On a side note, didn’t Punk get drafted to Smackdown?

Up next, Santino came out and did a bit with "Santina" on the TitanTron. Beth Phoenix then came out and said that Vickie Guerrero has ordered "Santina" to kiss The Great Khali at Backlash.

The next match saw Melina beat Beth Phoenix.

The hour one main event is up next with Chris Jericho vs John Cena. This was reportedly a great match, lasting nearly 25 minutes, but it ended in a DQ when Edge came out and gave John Cena a "ConChairTo."

Up next is Big Show vs Rey Mysterio which saw Big Show dominate the little man and score the pinfall. Rey was reportedly helped to the back after the bout was over.

I’m being told an announcement was made that John Cena will face Edge later in the evening, but my guess is that the bout will take place as the dark match main event after the show goes off the air.

The main event is next, and it saw Randy Orton defeat Triple H in a non-title, no DQ match after hitting the RKO for the pinfall. This was reportedly a long, back and forth match, with Legacy interfering to help Randy Orton, and then Batista and Shane McMahon coming out to counter the arrival of Legacy. Batista accidentally speared Shane at one point, and then accidentally pushed Triple H into the RKO as he was trying to avoid an attack from Legacy.
