Hey, guys – here’s a quick report from the TNA house show in Huntington, WV from Saturday, May 2:
Eric Young def Kiyoshi in a very intense X-Division opener.
BG James (as a TNA Management representative) def Brutus Magnus after trying to get him to leave the ring because he "didn’t have an opponent." BG got a great response from the crowd.
Angelina Love (C) def ODB to retain the Knockout Championship. During one point, ref Slick Johnson tried to separate the women and wound up with one hand on the chest of each of them. Post-match, ODB grabbed the ref’s rear.)
Consequences Creed def Sheik Abdul Bashir. Pre-match, Hebner strutted around the ring wearing Creed’s ring jacket. Brassiere pinned Creed while using the ropes for leverage, but Creed got the final pin after ref Earl Hebner was tipped off by the fans and restarted the match.
Abyss defeated Cute Kip. Unlike BG James, Kip was booed like crazy.
