TNA House Show Results (7/9): Jamestown, New York

Jeffrey Madigan sent along the following:

From the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena on July 9:

Before the event began, ‘J.B.’ Jeremy Borash was announced as the emcee/ring announcer.

Match 1: Consequences Creed def. Sheik Abdul Bashir in a very pro-USA/anti-USA match. Typical opening match to get the crowd going with the face getting the win.

Post match, Creed said he had a treat for for the fans, and he proceeded to do some dance moves from Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller.’

Before the second match began, J.B. announced that the TNA Impact show which aired that night saw a Knockouts Title change when Tara beat Angelina Love.

Match 2: Taylor Wilde def. Angelina Love.

Match 3: ‘Showtime’ Eric Young def. ‘Black Machismo’ Jay Lethal. Finish saw Lethal go up for the elbow drop but EY shoved the referee into the ropes, knocking Lethal down.

Match 4: TNA World Tag Titles – Beer Money (c) def. Team 3D. Funny match which a few times saw James Storm and Robert Roode in homosexual positions, resulting in Brother Ray telling the two ‘this isn’t Brokeback Mountain..’ Brother D-Von went under the ring to get a table after he was told to. Right before either member of Beer Money were going to go through it, Sheik Abdul Bashir ran out, hit Brother Ray with a lowblow, giving Beer Money the win. Post match saw Bashir try to get in good graces with Beer Money, who could care less. They threw him in the ring and received a 3D through the table. Team 3D then signed a piece of the broken table and gave it to a fan.

No matter how much heat Beer Money gets, their double suplex followed by them announcing their name is awesome.

Before the next match began, J.B. announced that Homicide beat Suicide on the July 9 Impact to win the X Division Title, and that Suicide was getting his rematch.

Match 5: Homicide (c) def. Suicide to retain the X Division Championship.

Match 6: A.J. Styles/Daniels def. Samoa Joe/Kurt Angle. Awesome match. All four of these guys can compete. Finish saw Daniels hit Joe with the BME but Kurt broke up the pinfall and hit the Olympic Slam on Daniels. That pinfall was interrupted by Styles, who nearly got an Olympic Slam of his own before Styles reversed nicely into the Styles Clash for the 3 count.

Post show, Styles and Daniels took pictures with fans in the ring for $20 a piece. The line was lenghy. Lethal, Creed and Taylor signed autographs at ringside, as well. It was a great show overall, and I hope TNA returns to Jamestown soon.
