-Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Drew McIntrye

Short match to begin tonight’s tapings. McIntrye gets the victory.

SmackDown! Opener:

This week’s SmackDown, the final major WWE show before Sunday’s "Night Of Champions" pay-per view opens with an in-ring promo segment with Jeff Hardy. Hardy basically talks about his match for the World title against CM Punk at the PPV. He is interupted, and a match is made.

Match #1:

-Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy

A very good match from bell to bell. Jeff Hardy picks up the win to build his momentum leading into his World title match this Sunday at the PPV.

Backstage: Melina Attacks Michelle McCool

Backstage we see Melina and Michelle McCool. The two are arguing and the segment ends with Melina throwing makeup in Michelle McCool’s face.
