Chris Jericho vs. MVP

Chris Jericho’s music hits and now it’s time for a singles match. Jerry Lawler informs us that Jericho will battle MVP after the commercial break. We return from commercial to a video replay of last week’s Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. MVP & Mark Henry match where MVP blasted Jericho with the brass knuckles. MVP’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. The two mat-wrestle and scramble around early. Jericho gets the upper-hand and has MVP down now, kicking him and yelling at him "where’s the knuckles at now?!" MVP fighting back now with punches. Belly-to-belly suplex by MVP. Jericho catches MVP in mid-air in the Walls of Jericho. MVP escapes. Jericho hits the ropes and comes running into a big boot from MVP. MVP with a pin attempt but only gets two. Jericho back up and he hits a dropkick on MVP which knocks him to the floor. We head to a mid-match commercial. We return from commercial and Jericho has MVP in a rear chin-lock. "Ask him!, ask him!" shouts Jericho to the ref. MVP fights his way out. Jericho hits MVP with a running bulldog to regain control of the match. Jericho misses a Lionsault and MVP is capitalizing. MVP hits the "Ballin" on Jericho. MVP sets Jericho up for the Playmaker but Jericho reverses into the Walls of Jericho. MVP reverses that into a pin attempt but only gets two. Jericho gets back up, hits the codebreaker, and pins MVP for the three count and the victory.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Backstage: Dusty Rhodes & D-X

Backstage we see Dusty Rhodes looking at The Rise & Fall Of WCW DVD. In walks D-Generation X. They tell Dusty his son and Ted DiBiase are a disgrace to his legacy. Dusty says it’s okay because his son will win the WWE title tonight and then he’ll give HBK or HHH a title shot. HHH and HBK argue over who will get the shot and then decide that it’s inproper to argue in front of Dusty and that they’ll resume the convo when they get home. From there we go to a series of boring plugs for the WCW, Dusty Rhodes and D-X DVDs.

Backstage: Cowboy Hornswoggle

We see Hornswoggle dressed up like a cowboy heading to the ring for a Texas Bullrope match.
