F4WOnline and other sites online have started reporting that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are starting up a new wrestling promotion called Hulkamania. WrestleZone.com can confirm that this is NOT the launch of a new full-time wrestling promotion. Rather, it’s simply an Australian tour that will be promoted locally by Condon Sports and Entertainment and KnokX Pro Entertainment.
Hogan has never wrestled in Australia and apparently, he has recently been itching to get back into the ring. The promoters offered a good deal to bring him to the land down under and he wants to have some fun with it.
There are currently four dates to be held in November this year in Melborne, Perth, Brisbane, and Sydney. The dates are between November 21st (in Melbourne, I believe) and the 28th (in Sydney).
No other names have been announced for the card and we’ll keep you updated as the tour gets closer. However, to reiterate, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are NOT launching a new wrestling company although they may disappoint some wrestling fans.
