He says he knows he asked them to come with him to the ring tonight, but he sees they’re on the cusp of putting D-X out of business forever. He tells them to take the night off. DiBiase asks if he’s sure. Orton says it’s just a contract signing, he’s got this.

-Cole and Lawler plug Cedric The Entertainer vs. Chavo Guerrero and the Orton-Cena contract signing as we head to commercial.

Cena-Orton Contract Signing

We return and Jerry Lawler is in the ring with a red carpet laid out, a table and some chairs. He talks about the Cena-Orton rematch at the PPV "Hell In A Cell." He first introduces Randy Orton. Orton’s music hits and out he comes by himself. He calmly sits down. Lawler introduces his opponent, WWE champion John Cena. Cena comes out and stares at Orton and then takes a seat. Lawler says contract signing don’t usually turn out well so tonight there is a no physicality rule in effect. He talks about how Trish Stratus made this match. He says that gives Orton two choices. He either faces Cena for the title at Hell In A Cell, or he can give up his right to an automatic championship rematch. He says here’s the contract. He signs it, looks at Lawler and says "now get out of this ring." Lawler nods his head and walks off. Orton tells Cena that he thinks he has him all figured out. He thinks Orton is at his weakest right now. He tells him he’s wrong. Cena does a giant comedy speech about how he’s supposed to be afraid, etc. Orton asks if he wants to turn this into a joke. Cena signs the contract and says he’s the joke now because the match is official. Cena says he’s not going to just try his best at the PPV, he’s going to destroy Randy Orton. Orton says he’d like to RKO Cena right now but legally he can’t. He calls out someone. Out comes Big Show and Chris Jericho. Jericho and Show box Cena into a corner. They attack him for a while until Mark Henry and MVP come out for the save. Cedric The Entertainer appears on the big screen and tells them to break it up. He says they made his job easy. Tonight all six men will compete in a six-man tag match.
