UFC’s “Ultimate Fighter” Destroys WWE RAW In Ratings

While the final cable rating is not yet available, last night’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter season 10 will come in well ahead of this past Monday night’s WWE RAW telecast.

Episode three of The Ultimate Fighter aired on Spike TV last night to an estimated 5.3 million viewers for the Kimbo Slice vs. Roy Nelson fight, which itself peaked with a 6.1 quarter hour. That would indicate a final cable rating of anywhere from 3.5 to 4.0 for the show, compared to the 3.1 the WWE RAW show delivered this past Monday.

The Ultimate Fighter scored a 6.8 rating for Males 18-34, the highest in the history of Spike TV as a cable network. The Kimbo-Nelson fight itself did a 7.86 for Males 18-34.

The replay for the episode, which aired immediately after the first broadcast also scored impressively with 1.5 million viewers. This means 6.8 million viewers saw the entire episode last night alone.

For those keeping track, Kimbo lost the fight to Nelson by way of second round TKO stoppage from strikes on the ground. It was revealed in the preview for next week’s episode that Kimbo may be brought back in to replace a potentially injured fighter in the tournament.
