Flair’s NWA Title Belt to Be Sold, TNA Asylum Closing Down

Nick Paglino

PWInsider.com is reporting that Ric Flair and Highspots could not reach a compensation agreement on the original NWA Title belt Flair first won. Therefore, Flair will relenquish the title, which had previously been in his possession, and Highspots will be selling it off to whoever the highest bidder is. In what appears to be an auction, the belt can be purchased by contacting Highspots@aol.com. Currently, Highspots is seeking offers of $75,000 or more.

The Nashville City Paper is reporting that the Mayor of Nashville has decided to close down the Tennessee State Fairgrounds, which was home to TNA’s Asylum, the original location for all its tapings. The Fairgrounds will be renovated and redevelopment of the area will begin next summer.
